Amanhã (dia 7 de Março), o FITEI fará uma apresentação do projecto Sinfonia Erasmus, aos
alunos de erasmus a estudar nas universidades da cidade do Porto, no Auditório Ruy Luís Gomes da Reitoria da Universidade do Porto, pelas 18:30h. (morada: Praça Gomes Teixeira 4099-002 Porto).
SINFONIA ERASMUS - é uma performance multidisciplinar em 5 andamentos que se realizará durante a tarde com a colaboração da comunidade de estudantes estrangeiros da cidade do Porto.
Através do desenvolvimento de competências nas áreas da performance, do movimento, da manipulação de objectos, da multimédia, da música, do design e da produção, os participantes terão a oportunidade de criar e participar numa sinfonia fisíca e musical prevista para ser apresentada no átrio principal da Estação de S. Bento no Porto, no dia 30 de Maio de 2012.
A escolha da estação de S. Bento prende-se com o facto de ser um local de viagens, de partidas e chegadas e também como bastião da beleza e da grandeza histórica da cidade europeia Porto. A performance estará centrada nesta estação. Ao longo da tarde o público seguirá as idas e vindas de um curioso grupo de visitantes da cidade enquanto chegam, enquanto se encontram, enquanto interagem e partem da estação um pouco mais integrados de quando chegaram.
Tomorrow (March 7), FITEI they will make a session to present THE ERASMUS SYPHONY project ! That session will take placeat 18h30 in the Auditorium Ruy Luis Gomes of Porto University Rectorate (address: Praça Gomes Teixeira 4099-002 Porto).
THE ERASMUS SYPHONY - is a multidisciplinary performance in 5 movements which will take place over an afternoon with the collaboration and participation of the Erasmus students currently visiting and studying in the city of Porto.
This Performance project hopes to explore the experience of cultural exchange and travel in a Europe without frontiers in a highly visual, dynamic and entertaining way.
Through the development of skills in the areas of performance, movement, object manipulation, multimedia, music, design and production the participants will have the opportunity to create and participate in a musical and physical symphonic performance taking place over an afternoon of happenings to take place at the central plaza of S. Bento station in Porto on 30th May 2012.
Taking place at the station of S Bento as a symbol of travel and also as an example of the great beauty and history of the European City of Porto the performance will be centred here and over one afternoon we will follow the comings and goings of a group of strange and curious visitors to the City as they arrive, meet up, join in and leave the station a little more integrated than they arrived.
